MochaSofa - Online portal to a variety of Canadian women's magazines, offering articles, tips and newsletters on practical subjects, food, health and beauty. MochaSofa.ca (French site: MokaSofa) is owned by Transcontinental, Canada's largest publisher of women's magazines. Its magazines include Style at Home, Chatelaine and Homemakers Magazine. MochaSofa.ca is the online amalgamation of these and other women's magazines. When it launched in May 2001, MochaSofa embarked on a wide-spread publicity campaign including publicity in women's magazines and T.V. stations such as the Life Network and the Women's Television Network.
Transcontinental's publications have a readership of 6.5 million. MochaSofa's target is readers aged 25-34 . Online content, divided into seven sections (food, entertainment, money, work, leisure, beauty and health) is repurposed from the magazines and edited for the web.
