Drawing on her 20 years of experience in fashion design, and with a degree in Psychology behind her, Elaine Closs has developed an intuitive flair for creating a look which will subtly or dramatically enhance the individual qualities of each potential client. Her love of beautiful fabrics, combined with expert cutting skills and an intuitive understanding of the female form, allow her to create dresses which will subtly flatter each individual shape. Elaine enjoys working together with her clients to interpret or offer advice on their own ideas or requirements, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Simplicity with originality is the hallmark of the Elaine Closs Bridal and Occasionwear Collection. With attention to cut, colour and detail, using exquisite fabrics such as silk crepes, satin, velvet, and organza, her dresses inspire a look which is both romantic and sexy.
At her shop in Battersea, London, bias cut wedding dresses of timeless elegance vie for attention with the drop dead glamour of Hollywood style evening gowns. Choose from our range of sample gowns, or have a customised design to suit your individual requirements. All wedding dresses are made to measure, to a couture finish, and involve approximately four fittings, including a calico toile. Adult bridesmaids dresses are also available as are bridal accessories, such as veils, shoes and tiaras. The occasionwear range, suitable for wedding guest and parties is chic, contemporary and fun. Brightly coloured shift dresses with matching jackets or sheer coats, or feminine strappy dresses with matching chiffon stoles are all available off the peg or made to order in a choice of colours and sizes. Choose from our range of matching hats to complete a stunning outfit!
