1904 - Just after the turn of the century, the Oris watch factory is founded by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian at Hölstein, Switzerland. 2001 - With the Big Crown TT1, Oris adds new momentum to its performance watches. A black rubber top ring on stainless steel is combined with a strap that mirrors the vertical tread pattern of Formula-1 tyres.
