The green wardrobe

The green wardrobe is owned and operated by me, Leslie Hart.
For more than 10 years I have shopped faithfully in thrift stores and secondhand stores. I love the thrill of finding, what I consider, a treasure. Sometimes I feel the need to alter it and sometimes I like to keep it just the way I found it. This site is for those of you who like to purchase items that are unique and one-of-a-kind. I have either painted vintage handbags or handmade handbags from found fabrics.
Sometimes a skirt with a spot on it may become a handbag and that sweater with a hole in the front may become a cute pair of legwarmers or a felted scarf.
