Pamela Simón Vintage Fabrics | I began collecting textiles in 1987, when my sister and I discovered a huge warehouse of fabrics on the east coast. It was like opening up a time capsule! We uncovered a collection of textiles that dated back to the 1930's and unraveled into the early 1960's. This was the heyday of the American textile industry, we were later to find out. Some of the gems from this discovery ended up in the permanent collections of prominent art and textile museums throughout the country. The textiles offered on this website are all original period American textiles and are in excellent, usable condition.
