Horizon Vintage has a unique collection of day and evening dresses, from the 50s through the 80s, with a focus on the 60s and 70s. Occasionally, we'll decide to purchase a piece or two from the 30s or 40s, if we feel it reflects the personality of the collection. Day dresses include several classic pieces by Claire McCardell, a 70s Missoni batwing dress, and a 60s Paco Rabanne black cotton dress with black metal inserts. Our evening wear includes Ossie Clark, Ossie Clark moss crepes, Vintage Pucci, a Vintage Halston hand-sequined gown, and many Stavropoulos chiffon goddess confections. We buy every Thea Porter we can get our hands on. Our outerwear includes a collection of vintage evening coats, vintage kimonos, and vintage day coats and jackets, including a 60s Pierre Cardin mod coat, a vintage Lanvin silk evening coat, many Bonnie Cashin coats, a vintage Alaia jacket, a rare Courreges color block jacket, and much more. In addition, Lost Horizon Vintage offers a wide range of separates. Some of the highlights of our inventory include iconic vintage Courreges pants, an exquisite Yves Saint Laurent skirt and blouse from the historic Saint Laurent peasant collection, and a lush, Loris Azzaro sweater. Some of our purse highlights include vintage Roberta di Camerino velvet purses, vintage Gucci purses, and Lucille de Paris purses in the finest alligator skins. We have a few rare art nouveau purses that are truly museum pieces, as well as novelty purses, that are great fun. The shoes include vintage Roger Vivier shoes, 70s Charles Jourdan sandals, evoking the iconic photographs of Guy Bourdin, Herbert Levine shoes and sandals, and as homage to the wild 70s, vintage platform shoes with Spanish cartoons, and butterfly boots by Tony the Shoemaker. We strive to maintain a depth of inventory that range from the classically elegant to the zany and wild.
