Hilde Roothart (1966) studied fashion design at the Academy of Arts in Utrecht. She gained experience as a stylist at the studios of Dominique Peclers and Lidewij Edelkoort in Paris. Back in Holland she worked at the styling and design studios of Gnther Frank and Milou Ket.
In 1996 Hilde Roothart established Trendslator, a consultancy office that translates trends into strategies and concepts. She writes about trends for several magazines and is a regular speaker for seminars and meetings on trends and innovation.
