Jonk's Dutch Costumes | The traditional costume that has become with tulips, windmills and wooden shoes, a symbol all over the world of all that is Dutch. In spite of a growing population, Volendam - the cradle of our product - still has the unmistakable character of a small community, almost all villagers know one another as if they were one big family. The beautiful traditional costume of old is now not as glorious as it once was: it is only worn at events such as the annual "Volendam Day" and by the staff of some Volendam restaurants.
