Lux Stockholm

Lux Stockholm - The limited company Lux Stockholm, later Electrolux, started its business on the island Lilla Essingen in 1907. The brick building by the water where Lux Stockholm house today, was originally the company's canteen. We had no difficulties in finding a name for our restaurant, we just inherited it and opened our doors on the 4th of April 2003.
The building is a listed building. It has large, arched windows which open up the dining room nicely towards Mariebergsfjärden, giving generously with light which corresponds well to our name; Lux Stockholm-Light of Stockholm. Our dining room has room for 120 guests and our veranda takes 60. Drinks/aperitifs and coffees are also available in the lounge, where smoking is allowed (the big diningroom area is a non-smoking one).
