He has a discerning eye in his choice of locations and a penchant for buildings with a rich and colourful past. Belga Queen Ghent, housed in a former grain storehouse known locally as the ‘Spijker’, overlooks the canal and bridges of the historical Graslei. Belga Queen Brussels has its home in the opulent ‘Hôtel de la Poste’ and won Antoine Pinto the Golden Palm in Paris for the best brasserie concept of 2002.
