Baby Go Retro, a family run business got it's start in the summer of 2000. Having been inspired after the arrival of their baby, Sheila Streicek began looking to the world of boutique children's clothing. With a flair for the simple beauties in life and an eye for classic lines, Sheila redirected her design talents to boutique children's clothing. Having worked in the Film and Television industry as a costumer, Sheila Streicek has logged many credits as both costumer and costume designer for such films as: An Unexpected Family, 1998 Hallmark TV production of "The Love Letter", "A Mothers Prayer", "Terminal"(where she met her husband), "Jailbreakers" and a "Season of Hope" to crazy creature features like Leprechaun 3 & 4. Sheila also has a degree in fashion design from Brooks College of Fashion and Design. Baby Go Retro is a casting of many talents from within. To compliment Sheila's designs, Baby Go Retro also includes hand painted artwork by Sheila's mother, Shirley, handcrafted quilts by her Aunt Sharon and Website & Photographic works by Sheila's husband, Justin Stroh. Baby Go Retro offers garments using only Vintage linens and fabrics as well as reproduction fabrics and sometimes new fabrics that catch our eye. All of our products are very limited and all are handcrafted.
