Bidadari | The Indonesian word for angel is an in Amsterdam established jewelry company. The company is founded on March 1, 2005. The brain behind this company is the Indonesian woman Sherley Yahya van Andel. Sherley is currently busy with her integration related activities at the University of Amsterdam but also starting up her own jewelry business in Europe. Fashion and jewelry play an important role in her life. Sherley originally comes from a royal family that owned a gold mine on Sumatra during the Dutch occupation. Her family always saw and sees jewelry as an important investment in a financial way but also important to express the beauty of the women. Her grandmother and mother learned Sherley to focus on the beauty of the woman. Later Sherley represented the Province Bengkulu at the Miss Indonesia Election of 2002 in Jakarta. In January 2005 Sherley moved to The Netherlands with one of her objectives to be an entrepreneur in selling exclusive jewelry. Sherley designs jewelry herself and chooses exclusive high quality jewelry from other designers. By combining unique design and beautiful colored high quality materials Bidadari jewelry will make a woman feel like a little angel.
