Balboa

After her graduation from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Jane Pope co-founded Balboa in 2001. She is now sole proprietor of this jewelry design business which is based in the Carolinas. Her eclectic jewelry is sold in over 30 stores nationwide. Janes passion for finding and restoring matchless pendants as one-of-a-kind necklaces led to the creation of Balboa. She began combing antique stores and flea markets across the Southeast for diamonds in the roughvintage pendants with unique stories and unusual designs. Reinvented with new settings of beads, chains or semi-precious stones, these pieces suddenly dazzled. Since 2001, Balboa handmade jewelry has traveled by word of mouth from private shows in the Carolinas to BARNEYS in New York and Beverly Hills.
Balboa designs have been modeled in Marie Claire, Glamour, Elle, and Lucky, and have also been worn by Hillary Duff, Nicky Hilton and Kiera Knightly.
Balboa was described in one newspaper as "among the young designers to whom the fashion industry looks for the next best thing." Perfect for a casual day of shopping or an upscale evening on the town, Balboa will help you reinvent your week.
