Florence Gunnarson was a visionary, gifted chemist, creator and a woman who understood the importance of possessing a unique personal style. With a passion for finding unique aromatic elixirs, she founded her company Florence Gunnarson Perfumed Essentials in 1939 and became Americas first woman perfumer, selling her distinctive hand-blended perfumes to a devoted clientele of film stars, socialites and those in the know.
Florence is best known for creating a range of perfumes that women could bathe with; luxurious true perfumes infused into a bubbling base that would leave women cleansed, moisturized and wonderfully scented.
