Cats & Withoos - One might suspect more than just a name when first hearing of 'Cats & Withoos'. But as a matter of fact it is no more than just that: 'Cats' is Jolanda's last name and 'Withoos' is Hans. Working together as a unit from their studio in the worlds largest port, the harbour of Rotterdam, they are the genuine example of what managers often oretend but hardly ever seem to bring about when a fusion is at hand: synergy.
Working together they are clearly complementary to one another, sometimes literally, but always during the initial fase of a new project or assignment. Talking, consulting, the exchancing of ideas clearly shows confidence in the process.
The result of this intensive cooperation does not automatically create co-operative art. On the contrary, talking into consideration the business interests within the creative cooperation, they individually select their clients, who as a result, can only profit of this 'oneness'.
