Since the label’s introduction the creation of Shakti has already generated thousands of dollars for health and education charities. Most recently, Shakti donated $25,000 to the Carl Wilson Foundation in support of Cancer Research as well contributing $12,000 for the Lake Tahoe School. In June 2004 Shakti participated in the Charity Network Rocks New York City event created to raise money for NYC Children’s Organizations.
