Royal Cotton - McGregor Fashion Group, founded in 1993, is a European fashion house that focuses on designing, purchasing, marketing, distributing and selling men's, women's and children's brand name clothing in the upper segment of the market. McGregor represents the group's leading brand. The McGregor brand combines traditional Scottish influences with the specific characteristics of American sportswear. "The best of both worlds".
The clothing is designed and developed in McGregor's own design departments and manufactured by third parties under McGregor's supervision.
The group furthermore includes the nautical sports- and lifestyle brand Gaastra, the dress shirt brands Dimaggio, King, Elmior and Royal Cotton and the women's blouse brand La Kerko. Since July 1999 the brand Lapagayo (children's wear and young ladies' fashion) also belongs to the group. In October 2000 the nautical sport's and lifestyle brand Gaastra was acquired. The ETP (Emergo Textile Projects) division of McGregor Fashion Group focuses on the development of industrial and image clothing.
