Roberta di Camerino, which is the "nom de plume" of Giuliana Camerino was born in Venice where she resides for part of the year and where the Group of Companies which she has founded, has its head office in a magnificent 16th century mansion. She began her activities as a fashion stylist during war when she was living in Switzerland with her family. In the 1950s, she became famous in the USA where in 1956 she was awarded the "International Fashion Oscar" by Neiman Marcus. Since that moment, she has received many awards and had many achievements with the affirmation of the trademark, the "R", and the expansion of the firms which she supervised.
The name "Roberta di Camerino" is know over the world for the articles she produces, but above all for the unmistakable style that sets her apart. Today, in addition to her celebrated handbags and suitcases, she designs and puts her name to sun-glasses, jewellery, men's and women's clothing and fashion accessories, ceramics, car interiors, which include the prestigious Range Rover and Lancia Delta, off-shore motor-boats, her prestigious perfumes, the shades of her make-up line and numerous other products.
