Ivan Grundahl | After more than 30 years as a designer Ivan Grundahl resides at the top of the Danish fashion- bombe-surprise. The Great Dane's wonderful, sarcastic wit comes through in his design, to-die-for leather jackets and skirts, fab skirts and extravagant coats in grand, luxurious cuts. - Sumptuous simplicity in swinging, generous lines, elaborate and sexy - devil-may-care sculptural power dressing with frivolous ruffles and playful foolery. Magnificent, bold, dramatic clothes that get you noticed everywhere in the world. "It has always to be breathtaking," declares Ivan of his design available at many shops.
In general, Ivan says very little about his achievements as a designer - he believes that the works should speak for themselves. Ivan is, however, the grand old young designer of Denmark. At a time when Danish fashion design was virtually unknown to the rest of the world, Ivan opened his own shop in New York and several shops in Denmark. His label Linea consists of elegant, understated fashion.
