New York label Ilana Moses debuted for spring 2005 with a collection called "Wanderlust" and gained an immediate following for its chic, feminine aesthetic. Available at a selection of boutiques in Manhattan, Los Angeles, and Tokyo since its inception, the label was also well-received by New York editors, and just as the first collection was hitting the stores, Moses was named a designer to watch by style guide Lucky Magazine. A former arts student and attorney, Moses grew up in Melbourne, Australia and moved to Manhattan in 2002 with her husband. Having always had a love of fashion and design, New York provided the perfect opportunity to embark on a more creative venture. Ilana Moses has since been featured in U.S. Elle, Cosmopolitan and Allure Magazines, among others, for creating beautiful collections laced with an off-hand sexiness. Influenced by a love of travel, history, photography and art, Moses combines luxe fabrics, thoughtful tailoring and romantic silhouettes to design collections that are at once charming, polished and cool... Ultimately, the perfect mix of Australians' more irreverent style, the romance of Europe, and the infectious spirit of New York City.
