Iben Høj | Knitwear designer Iben Høj launched her first collection for S/S 2003. Drawing on her love of knitting, her signature style is highly unique and technically complicated knitwear. Materials are sourced from exclusive Italian spinners focusing on new developments, rich fibres and luxurious drape. Styles vary from the finest delicate top or dress to more classic pieces – all with unique detailing and beautiful finish. Iben Høj knitwear has picked up a devoted fan base over the years and is sold worldwide in exclusive and innovative stores such as Gente in Rome, James in Moscow and Flying A in New York. Iben Høj plays on the contrast between a light, whimsical expression and a delicately dressed-up mood. Colours vary from palest face-powder pink and soft shell shades over a light raspberry to richer tones of cool blue and warm gold. The silhouette is feminine focusing on hiding and revealing as well as exquisite details such as tiny covered buttons, delicate rusching and subtle smocking. Materials are crisp and light forming delicate and understated, yet highly distinctive pieces with assured and sophisticated detailing.
