With her Spring 2004 collection debut, Doris Ruth was featured in Women's Wear Daily's "Ones to Watch" section and was recently recognized as one of Gen Art's "Fresh Faces" for 2003 in Chicago. The line has quickly found its way into many of the chic boutiques across the country and is turning heads and collecting fans from coast to coast. Decorative detailing on vintage-inspired, flirty pieces provides the foundation for Doris Ruth. A tribute to Adam's grandmother, Doris, the collection is inspired by female icons that have enriched her life and influenced her sense of style. "Women that I have placed on my own personal pedestal-- from Grace Kelly to Madonna to my own mother-- are some of the women that have inspired pieces in this collection and will continue to do so. I am constantly looking for feminine elegance to be communicated through the pieces. Even the casual tanks have an element of charm and gracefulness," says Adams.
