Doo.Ri | Korean-American designer | Doo Ri Chung’s rise to fame has been stratospheric. After graduating from New York’s prestigious Parson’s School of Design, she caught the attention of Geoffrey Beene, after Paper magazine showcased one of her thesis designs at an event. She worked with him for five years and then in 2003 decided to go it alone, launching a capsule collection which she sold at the hip Downtown boutique, Klee (which she co-owns) and presenting her first runway show during New York fashion week.
