Charlie Brown

Hi, I'm Charlie. Founder and design director of the house of Charlie Brown. "Take it, but take it easy." That's my philosophy. And you could say I've built my career on it. Right from the beginning I realised you've got to have a goal, but you don't have to be in a rush to get there. My story began in San Francisco in retail sales and later design. After gaining valuable experience in these fields (Thanks Esprit) I realised it was time to move on. All the way to Australia in fact, where after several years of making other people rich and famous I decided to give it a shot myself. As well as forming more than a business partnership with Danny Avidan (now husband) I created the house of Charlie Brown, two and half children and a pretty tough reputation.
I pride my labels on being diverse enough to cross fashion and lifestyle borders. The Charlie Brown labels appeal to a larger cross section of women and their modern lives than my competitors.
Now, with the label well established, I'm looking forward to even more creative and dynamic collections in future.
