Caroline Hedaya

Caroline Hedaya and Donna Baxter are true native New Yorkers. The two met while at FIT, and quickly realized how their different design philosophies complimented each other. Combining their talents with different visions, the duo created a women's wear line that would fit both of their lifestyles. The origin of the Caroline Hedaya brand is based on a graceful stylish woman with a sense of humor. Growing up Hedaya typically rummaged through her Diana Vreeland-loving grandmother's closet in search for the perfect piece; Inspiring her eye for the classic design elements. Baxter on the other hand grew with an inspired musical background, which helps to stimulate a sharpness to her design philosophy. Caroline and Donna have taken this concept for their Spring 2007 collection. Using classic silhouettes and giving them a contemporary development by using bamboo and Safari Prints with cascading ruffles as details. For evening they used window pane silks in off whites to create elegant, flowing 70's inspired dresses. Hedaya and Baxter continue their luxe concepts and moves forward with each collection. The combination of function, quality and design defines the Caroline Hedaya collections.
