CAAN

Annika Hueg Kærsaa and her younger sister, Candida Hueg, both graduated from the Danish fashion academy, Margrethe Skolen, based in Copenhagen. In 1997 they established their fur company CAAN. The name is made up of the first two letters of each of their first names, and although their collaboration only lasted a year Annika has kept the company name.
Since 1998 Annika has been the designer in charge of the CAAN-collection.
One of her best-selling items is the famous "rabbit scarf with fringes" that comes in various sizes. Also her innovative and creative furs are a hit amongst customers around the world. Thanks to her own doing and three very efficient salespeople, CAAN design is now sold in more than 300 shops in Scandinavia and England. Australia is a new and explosive market and soon fashion stores in New York will carry CAAN.
