Blay operates under the Blay and Blayconcept brand names. Both target the middle and upper-middle segments of the womens wear market. Blay is the hallmark brand, whilst Blay concept is a more recent arrival, offering a more sophisticated and elaborate footwear concept. Since it was set up in 1987, the firm has focused its attention on international markets. I has exported most of its annual production, which currently stands at around 180,000 pairs. Europe is one of its main customers, receiving 60% of the total production. The remaining 40% is exported to the USA, Japan, China and Australia.
The firms objectives include the continued development of its international strategy and establishing a presence at those points of sales that reflect its corporate philosophy, based on offering fashion, elegance and quality.
