Black Milk
Black Milk is the latest addition to TRS, the urban fashion basics brand that was re-launched by Martin Munch in 2004. TRS is owned by Wardrobe ApS, a partnership between Munch, Metropol ApS and Christian Gyldenøhr. Created by Kristina Søndergaard, also a designer for TRS, Charlotte Sparre, Wood Wood and Daughters of Style, Black Milk is Kristina’s fashion love child. It is an independent women’s label that builds on the TRS vision of quality tailoring, but with a more feminine edge and for the slightly more mature customer. Black Milk is conceived out of the wish to create a wearable and affordable fashion line of clothes with a focus on the feminine side of street wear. It is feminine, but not too cute or girly. Inspired by menswear, Black Milk prioritises functionality and comfort. The basic design principle is contrast. The coolness of the dominant black and white colours are blended and softened with warmers shades; it is mature but young; prints are industrial, but with a personal hand-painted touch, and street styles are mixed with classic elements. Black Milk adds a touch of style to the everyday life, and a dash of casual cool to the weekend parties.
