Benedikte Utzon | A Versatile, Creative Talent. As a member of the Utzon family of furriers, designers and architects Benedikte Utzon was born and brought up with creativity. She graduated from the Scandinavian Academy of International Fashion and Design in 1987. Since then she has worked for several leading design and fashion companies in Denmark. In 1995 Benedikte felt ready to introduce her own label, ‘Benedikte Utzon'. This mid priced, feminine, contemporary mixture of classic and raw designs has long ago proven its great appeal to the modern, independent, and fashion conscious woman. A woman who wants to express her personal style with beautiful colours and shapes, an exceptional fit, and unique details to accentuate her feminine silhouette. In 1995 Benedikte Utzon introduced her own label "Benedikte Utzon". The design is feminine mixed with rawness and luxury. The silhouette is paying tribute to the female body, being a contemporary mixture of classic and raw designs appealing to the modern, independent and fashion conscious woman. The focus is put on exceptional fitting and unique details. The materials are carefully chosen to complete the universe of the design. The Fall/Winter 2007 Benedikte Utzon cloth-collection is extended with a wide accessory collection containing bags, purses and belts for work, everyday or the late evenings.
