Olivier Theyskens

Olivier Theyskens is amongst the handful of dynamic Belgian designers whose shows are finely tuned orchestrations of craft and intellect. For his spring/summer 2002 collection Theyskens' runway was an Edwardian aviary and his models birdlike creatures who's fragile statures highlighted the drama in the designer's sophisticated tailoring. Always experimenting with design equations, Theyskens draws inspiration from historical references but his cutting edge sensibilities render his clothes totally modern.
