Christian Westphal

Christian Westphal was born in Copenhagen and educated in fashion design from College of Danish Design, Kolding and graduated from Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, Christian Westphal began his career in Paris with John Galliano at Christian Dior and later at the Atelier Flou of Emanuel Ungaro before working as the assistant for Delphine Murat. He later moved back to Copenhagen to work for ICCompanys.

While still faithful to the original concept of a blend of design and classic tailoring and the rules of couture, the launch has also involved a dramatic, uncompromising turn to modernity, striving for an idea of luxury that would not be confined to mere formalism, but rather entail a resolute quest for perfection and creativity in detail and finishing.

Discretion is an honourable cause for Christian Westphal, and therefore he enjoys portraiting the characters as participants in the circus of his own life.
