Amax | I bought my first camera for only US $10 in the Mbeya, Tanzania to document my stay in Africa. After two months I bought a little more sophisticated plastic camera. Today a thick photo album keeps my nine months journey through East Africa alive. Afterwards I decided to move to London to study photography (click here to see my projects I did in London). My friend’s self-portraits motivated me to do more photography. Since then I cannot stop pushing the shutter button. Finally I found Natacha Meritt’s "Digital Diaries" at the Tate Modern. The next day I run into the nearest photo shop to buy a digital camera, which I kept carrying on me. I was not absolutely sure because he just looked like a normal man in an Adidas jacket and black jeans. He did not look as freaky as his head from inside... BUT it was HIM!!! This was a clear sign for me...
