Charlotte's Optical - Charlotte grew up in the optical business in Germany. Her father was an optometrist with a flair for keeping unique and fashionable frames in his optical shop. Following in her father's footsteps, Charlotte underwent a rigorous formal training in optics in Muenster, Germany. After Charlotte relocated to the United States, she became the first woman optician in the Philadelphia area and assisted such clients as Julius Erving in finding eyewear for any occasion.
