Ex Libris Anonymous

Ex Libris Anonymous, an enterprise which markets journals made from recycled books, is relatively new to the Market, although the business has been in existence for approximately two years. Run by Jasmine and Jacob Deatherage, Ex Libris finds books primarily at library sales. They look for books with unique covers and interesting pages. The couple then cuts up the books and measures paper to fit; no two books are the same size or make. The resulting journals are then bound with black spirals. One of the most interesting points about these journals is their trueness to the original book; most of the journals include several pages of artwork found in the original book, as well as any postcards or inserts the book contained when the couple discovered it.
