Meet the PB girls: Inge
Inge Albers l 31 years old l Customer Care, Administration at Perfectly Basics
Here yet again an exclusive piece about the life and work of our Perfectly Basics employees. Today we present to you our beautiful colleague and mommy to be (for the second time): Inge Albers. Next to being a versatile centipede she is one of the company’s first employees.
I got my job at Perfectly Basics by… calling Birgit. We had been colleagues for a long time, but at one point our paths separated. Birgit and Peter then started the company and I always kept an eye on the development, mainly for personal interests. When I saw a job opening I was immediately interested. It seemed to be a great company to work for. After the interview the interest seemed to be mutual and I was happy to be the newest addition to, back then, the small team.
I studied… both Tourism and Detex Fashion management.
My job means that I… answer customer’s questions and give advice either by phone or email. Next to that I process the returns on an administrative level and I handle possible complaints to and from the clients or suppliers. I also assist with personal shopping in the VIP Room.
When I was young I wanted to become… a fashion journalist.
The average day at perfectly Basics… starts with a cappuccino and checking my e-mails. After that I start printing the returns, answering question and picking up the phone. The rest of my tasks I complete throughout the day whilst answering the phone.
I wouldn’t be able to do my job without… my dear colleagues especially Linda and Maaike which I work close with in the Customer Care Department.
The best thing about my job is… my great colleagues, great work atmosphere, the diversity in tasks and obviously staying up-to-date with the latest fashion and trends.
Typically my style is… actually very diverse and versatile, but generally casual with an edgy touch. I love wearing jeans with a feminine, printed or detailed top and I always keep focus on cool boots or sneakers.
A great basic is… top quality, great fit and not to bold in color.
My ultimate basics are… an army green leather jacket, a trench coat, ankle boots, black cowboy boots and sneakers.
My favourite PB items are… the Maxime cardigan from Anecdote, the Converse Chuck Taylor High, the Kalmar slim-fit down jacket from Closed, Rosebud Salve from Smith’s and the Noelle biker boots from DKNY.
On a free day in the weekend my favourite thing to do is… this might sound a bit cliché, but on a free day I like to just be with my husband and our son. What we do doesn’t really matter that much.
If I want to spoil myself I… go shopping of course!
Everyone should come visit our VIP Room because… it is a wonderfully spacious room where clients can relax and try on things that they've seen online. Next to that they will be helped in a friendly way and are given personal advice if they wish. It is great for clients to drop by because all the newest collections are presented here.
