Behind the scenes: Sarah
Today we had another photo shoot and we’re super excited to welcome our new model Sarah. A real natural beauty with many faces, versatile poses and a lot of experience. We were delighted to have her in our studio and shoot the new collections by DKNY, Repeat, See By Chloé and Marc by Marc Jacobs.
After high school all Sarah wanted to do was travel and that is how she eventually rolled into the business. At the age of 25 she’s already got a lot of national and international work experience, which makes her a real pro. She mainly lives abroad and has worked in Paris, London, New York, LA and Australia. In LA she worked with the famous London-based photographer Ben Watts on a mega-campaign that was shown in the Elle and the Vogue. On her favourites list is another shoot for a super cool French brand The Kooples.
Beside the fact that she is a beautiful and certainly versatile model, she’s also creative and she love to learn. She’s finished a course in photography and a course in diet. She will soon also start an online course in Cultural Studies at the London University. She has chosen this study because besides loving the language she’s also very much interested in the culture of the country.
In between studying and working she also finds time to write for websites and blogs. She is a resident blogger for model website Shortlist-id and for the fashionable P.C Hoofdstraat website. In addition to that she has her own blog where she discusses art, photography and all other aspects of her daily life.
Being a model she is very aware of her body and she knows how to take care of it. She has a tip for us: practice sports you like and eat healthy!
Finally, her absolute must-have fashion item for this autumn is a skirt with a high waist and a short sweater on top of it, Dirty Dancing style.
