Behind the Scenes: Dayse
She was discovered by her best friend and she had her fist modelling job at age twelve. Her big break was at age twenty when she competed in Brazilian Next Top Model, she finished in third place. We are obviously talking about the beautiful exotic Dayse Lima, she is our newest model for See by Chloé, M Missoni, Lacoste, Drykorn, Filippa K, Paul & Joe and Paul & Joe Sister! We are very happy to have her today before she goes back to South Africa for three months.
Dayse is not only incredibly beautiful and wonderfully versatile, she also studied ‘Modern Art’ and she is her own manager. After having participated in the Brazilian version of Next Top Model she decided to take matters into her own hands and she continued to go on without a manager because she wanted to be responsible for her own privacy.
Her fist modelling job outside Brazil was when she was seventeen years old in Germany in the snow where she even had her first ice-skating experience. She fell in love with Europe a little bit and has been living in Antwerp for the last three years with her boyfriend whom she met when he was on vacation in South America. Before she settled in Belgium she travelled through Europe, visiting all the most beautiful places on the continent. He future plans are to keep working as a model for the next two years, until she is twenty-six, after that she want to open her own beauty institute. Here she wants to share her experiences as a model and personal skills in style advice, cosmetics and spa-life. As beauty tips she advices us to drink a lot of water, eat a lot of veggies and stay away from carbonated drinks.
Born and raised in Brazil, our beautiful model knows the absolute hotspots in the country including the kilometres of beaches. Next to that she encourages us to take a plane from Florianópolis to Jericoacoara to eventually end up in Pirenópolis or Chapada to admire the gorgeous waterfalls. And so you have had enough of all that breath-taking nature, which seems impossible, another tip is to dive into São Paulo’s nightlife.
