Madame Carven

It all began when Madame Carven decided to establish her own Haute Couture house on the Rond Point des Champs Elyses in 1945. Her main objective was to cater for the smaller woman as she herself was only 1m55 It was an immediate success as she managed to win the interest of all Paris. She was soon dressing Egyptian princesses, the daughters of the Comte de Paris and show business personalities such as Michle Morgan and Edith Piaf.
Not wishing to stop there, she created one year later, the first Carven perfume Ma Griffe a youthful fragrance which was in perfect complement with her clothes. The house of Carven and its's President Mr Daniel Harlant, are happy to announce the arrival of Pascal Millet as Artistic Director.
Following his training within "Les Ecoles de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture", Pascal began as first assistant to Michel Goma in Balenciaga, integrated then into the house of Givenchy where he worked under the aegis of Monsieur de Givenchy, John Galliano and Alexander McQueen.
