Jockey Club - Ibiza

Jockey Club | Julio Lanzoni left the big city and landed in Ibiza in 1990. After two seasons exploring the possibilities the island had to offer, he took the reins of a new, keenly anticipated project: the chiringuito (beach club) nº 3 on Ses Salines Beach. Shortly after on 17 May 1993 saw the birth of the Jockey Club. The initial stages of the Jockey were marked by short, fun-packed seasons, where partying and music were the stars. We will never forget the people dancing in the sea and on the terrace come large dance floor. Not discrediting the initial project, the quality cuisine and good service took centre stage over the other areas. The seasons became longer, running from spring to autumn: The Jockey became a restaurant. In 1999, we decided to stay open all year round so as to offer a better service to the people of the island. Gradually our project grew in many aspects which took place in both summer and winter; breakfast in front of the sea and meals on the beach, live music and the clothes shop, cocktails and the chef's creations, the sun-loungers next to the turquoise sea, Julio's garden. Today all of this has come true.
