Blijburg

Blijburg is een café aan het strand van het IJselmeer. Het staat aan de rand van IJburg in Amsterdam. Wij zijn de hele week open. Je kunt hier prima terecht voor een heerlijk ontbijt, lunch, tapas en diner. Blijburg - The first café-restaurant on the newly built IJburg, a top location and something of a mirage, on the border of the IJmeer. A relaxed atmosphere so laid back, you're almost horizontal. A limited menu with attractive dishes and occasionally a BBQ. In the summer, the beach in front of the restaurant is full of successful, hip and alternative mums and dads accompanied by their well spoken children. From the centre by bike, it takes forty five minutes of hard pedalling, however when you arrive, you’re someplace else. ‘Let’s hope the government allows Blijburg to continue for another season.’ In the winter, only the café will be open.
