Alexander McQueen Overleden

In Londen is de Britse modeontwerper Alexander McQueen overleden. Britse media melden dat hij zelfmoord heeft gepleegd. Hij werd 12 februari 2010 dood aangetroffen in zijn woning in Londen. Topdesigner McQueen verloor drie jaar geleden zijn beste vriendin Isabella Blow. De excentrieke modechef van Elle zette McQueen in de schijnwerpers en maakte van hem een ster. Blow pleegde op 48-jarige leeftijd zelfmoord, nadat ze te horen had gekregen dat ze kanker had. Alexander zou in een depressie zijn beland nadat zijn geliefde moeder Joyce vorige week overleed.
