Ting

TING was set up by Inghua Ting after she graduated with an MA in woven Textile Design from the Royal College of Art in 1999. During her time at the RCA, Inghua won a travel award for her innovative research work into fabric fibres and finishes in Japan. From this early stage Ting became synonymous with the unique use of materials from a range of different industries. Design quickly became an elemental process dictated by the type and performance of the fabric used and Inghua's close relationship with the manufacturing process; creating an evolving loop where process feeds into design.
The innovative use of industrial stainless steel mesh, seat belt fabric and recycled leather belts has become the defining quality of the brand's unique style.
Ting has two main product areas; fashion accessories and living accessories, both of which complement each other and reinforce the brand philosophy. All products are hand made in England by a specially trained team led by an Italian craftsman on tailored tools and machines.
