Adams Jones

British designer Adam Jones began his career studying fashion and knitwear at the University of Brighton. After moving to Paris in 1989, he spent five years working at Kenzo, then went on to design the knitwear for Christian Dior between 1995 and 2001. Pushing back design borders and redefining the boundaries between knitwear, prt--porter and couture, Adam launched his debut solo collection with a presentation at the Palais de Chaillot in March 2001. His seductive juxtaposition of yarns, ribbons and couture fabrics won instant acclaim.
Adam's second collection, unveiled at the British Embassy in Paris in October last year, confirmed his talent for innovation, weaving a rich and unexpected mix of luxury knits, finespun crochet and ruched Calais lace.
